Get your life back.
Clinique Robichaud-Lévesque Clinic offers a wide variety of treatment options, including:
The Robichaud Levesque Clinic’s main focus is in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders and offers a variety of therapeutic procedures including standard and specialised chiropractic techniques. Dr Pierre Lévesque and Dr. Marie-Josée Robichaud have over a half century of combined experience in providing patients with individualized and specialized care, while Dr. Martin Levesque brings additional evidence based perspectives.
At the Robichaud Levesque Clinic, various techniques and approaches are combined to further enhance patient response and facilitate the recovery process in general. These techniques can consist of standard diversified chiropractic care, the Sigma Ultralign Instrument, Bioflex Laser Therapy, orthotics, foot care and massage therapy.
The number of treatments required can vary between patients as a result of the severity of the injury, if symptoms have persisted for a length of time and have become chronic, or can also depend on the patient’s health goals. Normally, a slower response is to be expected by patients with a long standing condition. When patients seek care without delay, changes can be experienced quickly, if not immediately. Some patients will benefit from periodic treatment, which helps maintain an optimal level of health and improved function to avoid relapses or further injury.
Although some conditions will resolve with time or exercising, when they don’t, get help from a chiropractor.
The doctor of chiropractic is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of spinal dysfunction and neuromusculoskeletal disorders. As a port of entry professional, the chiropractor is able to diagnose and treat conditions of the spine, as well injuries to the extremities, including whiplash, disc injuries, sprains and strains, plantar fasciitis, and rotator cuff injuries among others.
The chiropractor’s main focus is to address the cause of the condition in view of correcting the source of pain. The chiropractor works primarily with his hands, however, at the Robichaud Levesque Clinic many tools are utilized in conjunction with the standard approach. Many treatment options are offered, such as the Sigma Ultralign Instrument and the Bioflex Laser System.
During the initial consultation, a thorough case history is taken, followed by a physical examination, including ranges of motion and postural assessment, neurological and orthopedic testing, myofascial analysis, a vertebrogenic kinematical assessment (spinal functional examination), as well as a computerized vertebral assessment with the Sigma Ultralign Instrument. A computerized gait scan evaluation is also performed when indicated. Radiological investigations are reviewed.
After completion of the examination, the patient is informed of the clinical findings pertinent to their assessment and a plan of management is specifically designed to address the issues involved. Where the examination identifies patients who are not suited to chiropractic care, or in the unusual event that a patient does not respond to care, they will be referred to the appropriate and best suited health care professional.
