Get your life back
Clinique Robichaud-Lévesque Clinic offers a wide range of treatment options, including:
The main focus at Robichaud-Lévesque Clinic is the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders. We offer a variety of therapeutic procedures including standard and specialised chiropractic techniques. Dr Pierre Lévesque and Dr. Marie-Josée Robichaud have over a half century of combined experience in providing patients with individualized and specialized care, while Dr. Martin Lévesque brings additional evidence-based perspectives.
At the Robichaud-Lévesque Clinic, various techniques and approaches are combined to further enhance patient response and facilitate the recovery process in general. These techniques can consist of standard diversified chiropractic care, the Sigma Ultralign Instrument, Bioflex laser therapy, orthotics, foot care and massage therapy.
The number of treatments required can vary among patients due to a number of factors, such as severity of injury, whether symptoms have persisted for some time and/or have become chronic, and the patient’s health goals. Normally, a slower response is to be expected from patients with long-standing conditions. When patients seek care without delay, changes can be experienced quickly, if not immediately. Some patients will benefit from periodic treatment, which helps maintain an optimal level of health and improved function to avoid relapses or further injury.
Although some conditions will resolve over time or with exercising, when they don’t, seek help from a chiropractor.
A doctor of chiropractic is an expert in the assessment and treatment of spinal dysfunction and neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Chiropractors are able to diagnose and treat conditions of the spine as well as injuries to the extremities, whiplash, disc injuries, sprains and strains, plantar fasciitis, and rotator cuff injuries, among others.
The chiropractor’s main focus is to address the cause of the condition with the goal of correcting the source of pain. While a chiropractor works primarily with his hands, at the Robichaud-Lévesque Clinic, we use many tools in conjunction with the standard manual approach. Many treatment options are offered, such as the Sigma ProAdjuster and the Bioflex Laser System for example.
During the initial consultation, a thorough case history is taken, followed by a physical examination, including ranges of motion and postural assessment, neurological and orthopedic testing, myofascial analysis, a vertebrogenic kinematical assessment (functional spinal examination), as well as a computerized vertebral assessment with our Sigma ProAdjuster. Radiological investigations are reviewed.
After the examination, the patient is informed of the clinical findings relevant to their assessment and a plan of management is specifically designed to address the issues involved. Where the examination identifies patients who are not suited to chiropractic care, or in the unusual event that a patient does not respond to care, they will be referred to the appropriate and best suited health care professional.
