BIOFREEZE/MEDISTIK

Biofreeze and MEDISTIK  provide temporary relief from minor muscle and joint aches and pains associated with back problems, arthritis, bruises, as well as strains and sprains. These products help break pain cycles associated with these conditions by relieving pain through a method known as gate control. In the gating process, menthol stimulates specific sensory receptors in the skin, thereby preventing other receptors from sending pain signals to the brain.

These products may be used up to four times a day, both before exercize or therapy to relieve painful movement, and afterwards to soothe muscle or joint soreness. In some cases, Biofreeze and MEDISTIK products can be used during exercize or therapy.
